4th CYCLE PROTOCOL DEVELOPMENT NOW CLOSED
The following draft protocols were submitted for the 4th cycle protocol development on November 15, 2008, and have completed all 3 rounds of technical and stakeholder review. These protocols are awaiting Alberta Environment review and approval for use in the Alberta Offset System. 6) NITROUS OXIDE ABATEMENT FROM NITRIC ACID PRODUCTION
7) ENGINE FUEL MANAGEMENT AND VENT GAS CAPTURE
Following the 3rd round review period, additional work was conducted on this protocol including a stakeholder meeting to discuss submitted comments and questions, and a follow-up meeting with Alberta Environment to discuss modifications made to the draft protocol.

ALBERTA OFFSET SYSTEM – 2ND & 3RD CYCLE PROTOCOL DEVELOPMENT
The following draft protocols completed the required three rounds of technical stakeholder review as outlined in the Alberta Protocol Development process in early 2008. They were sent to Alberta Environment for review and consideration of final approval as an Alberta Offset System Quantification Protocol. Potential protocols coming forward The following project-type protocols have completed or are in the process of completing the development of Technical Seeds Documents (TSD) (background science). Once a TSD is completed, standardization of the information into the Alberta Protocol format may commence.
